Tourvest is one of our favourite corporate clients and we take hands with them a few times a year for their Cape Town functions. This function was Day 1 of a two day event and we chose to highlight the colours of their logo for both. For this function we chose black to off-set the yellow and make it pop and the end result was sublime. Cape Town gave its best and the mountain backdrops added its own drama to the fun and festive setting. Lauren & Henrico: Die Woud
From the moment I met Lauren and Henrico (over Zoom) I could tell that there was a very deep and solid love between the two of them. They just radiated it! The week before their wedding, the Overberg was hit by devastating floods and a lot of roads and wedding venues were destroyed. It was an absolute miracle that their venue, the beautiful "Die Woud", did not suffer any damage and we could go ahead with the festivities as planned. Despite a spot of rain on the morning of the wedding, the day turned out crisp and clear. The cool breeze beautifully complimented the autumnal colour palette...
Teja & Dan: A beautiful Boschendal celebration (Part 1)
This three day celebration was a feast for the eyes and a celebration of love par excellence! Teja and Dan was a treat to work with right from the start and they really made my job a blast. They knew what they wanted, but was also open to ideas and direction which made for a beautiful working relationship. It was incredible to get to know them and to be a part of their journey and looking at the pictures, I am almost sad that it had to come to an end! Since a lot of their guests were coming from the UK (and beyond), they wanted to make the most of their time together and give them a real...
Liza and Karl: Matjiesfontein mood
This couple was a vibe! Their stunning Karoo wedding celebrated the landscape with every shade of neutral - from the deep rust brown of the groom's suit, to the soft off-white of the table linens, raw wood and foraged grasses, it was all there. It was a weekend packed with fun, starting with a ride on the iconic Matjiesfontein Red Bus and culminating in a blast-from-the-past soft serve ice cream truck serving up childhood memories and delicious ice cream. They used up absolutely all the space available with a ceremony out in the open grass fields, pre-drinks on the lawn of one of the...
Jean & Clarisse: (K)olourful at Kalmoesfontein
This wedding was such a vibe! The bride waited many years for her knight in shining and it was so beautiful to witness how great things turn out for those who wait. Clarisse is a confetti canon of fun and colour and it was amazing to see how their wedding reflected the groundedness of their relationship, as well as her vibrancy. They got married in the bright yellow school hall, all the guests seated on royal blue chairs. After the ceremony, guests walked along the scenic dirt road to the reception hall where they were greeted with an Al Fresco dinner par excellence. The mood was classy...
